Two pictures that say it all and a cute baby.

Yes that is Avah asleep in her high chair while eating dinner. She was still hungry after I woke her up to put her to bed. She looks like she was about to take another bite.( she still eats with her hands. She wont use the forks we give her.)
Andy took this when he came home early from work. I didn't mean to fall asleep. I still have the cramp in my neck. Sarah looks comfortable though.

Isn't she sooo sweet?

Three years and counting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Three years ago today I married THE MAN OF MY DREAMS!
Today we now have two beautiful little girls, a house that's falling apart, two cars(one of which is paid off!), and a huge school loan. Ahhh married life, isn't it great! I can't wait to see what the next thirty years will give us!
(Yes, I know the cheese factor is very high in this post, but what can I say? I'm just happy someone managed to stay with me for this long! My girls are just sooo cute I had to throw another picture of them on here.)

Sarah's two week doctor visit

So I took Sarah in for her check up yesterday. She is twenty one and a half inches tall, and weighs ten pounds two ounces. Yes in two weeks my baby gained a pound. I must have good milk. Everything is looking good, she is a very healthy baby. I had Avah with me when we went, and when the nurse started to take blood from Sarah for that test thing... Avah was not happy. I think she is going to be a protective sister. Anyway Sarah is healthy, growing fast, pooping like crazy(seriously you should hear whats going on next to me), and eating just as much.

Easter Pictures!!!

My girls are so cute. You can't tell in this picture, but Avah was nervous when we put Sarah next to her. We still managed to get a few good ones of the two of them though. We were going to put them in matching dresses but couldn't find any so we went with similar dresses. I also put bracelets on both of them. Avah loved the attention.
Andy would pose her with her hands on her lap or arms folded, but as soon as she saw the flash she went crazy. She jumped up and down, was laughing, throwing her legs in the air. We got some really cute pictures with huge smiles. Unfortunately, because she was moving some of them are out of focus(like the one below). But, still soooo cute!

Sarah was a bit trickier. She isn't smiling in any of her pictures(I guess she just didn't have any gas). She also didn't seem to like us posing her too much. I guess we will just have to give it time. I did notice that she pulls off yellow really well. It seems to be her color.

She looks a little upset in the first one, but I really like the second one. I love those chubby cheeks of hers. I hope they stay awhile. I have the cutest little girls in all the world!(no offence to anyone elses, but its true.)

(I have just noticed that you can't see the bracelet I put on Sarah in any of these pictures. That's sad because it went so well with her dress. It has blue tulips with round green beads in between them.)

Sarah's first two weeks.

Let me give you the run down of what the first two weeks have been like... We came home Tuesday, Andy went back to work on Wednesday. Andy came home from work with a burning hot fever. Needless to say he went straight to bed. Thursday Avah woke up from her nap with the same fever. I spent that night on the couch with Sarah so Andy and Avah could get some sleep (I didn't get much.). Andy slowly is getting better. Avah seemed to be staying the same so on Monday we finally took her to a doctor who said that she had a viral infection and that it would work itself out in a couple of days. Five days later she does seem to be almost her old self again. Sarah has been eating like crazy, and is starting to stay awake for longer than two seconds. Now that Avah is getting better I have been letting her near the baby a bit more. She loves to be helpful. She hands me clothes when I'm changing Sarah's diapers(weather she needs them or not), she hands me the bottle of milk when I sit down(even if I'm not holding Sarah), and when Sarah cries Avah is the first one to comfort her by saying "shhhhhhh". I honestly do not know how you parents of more than one do it. I'm so tired right now I'm falling asleep standing up. Which is kinda scary when I'm holding one of the girls. Its a good thing they are soo cute, It is the only thing saving them from my too tired to handle their screaming moods. How long does it take for babies to sleep through the night? I can't remember when Avah did. Let me just make it clear that I am happy that I have both girls. I don't mean to sound like I'm not. I'm just really tired. That's understandable right?
P.S. In response to Ruth's question... yes that is a monkey on a leash that Avah is wearing in that picture. It was a gift from mum and dad for her to open when she meet Sarah. I don't know if it works yet but, she likes to wear it.
