Avah and Andy had a lot of fun decorating the tree together.
I think the Santa tree topper was Avah's favorite to put on the tree.
She had fun with the other ornaments, but she only got picked up for the Santa.

I don't understand it but Avah has the biggest fascination with feet and anything that goes on them. Whenever I have my feet up Avah will come over and give them a hug and kiss. Lately she has a huge need to put on her daddy's shoes. That face she is making in the picture is really how she looks when she gets both shoes on without tripping. It's the funniest thing you ever saw.

Exciting!!!!!

Well its exciting for me anyway. I had loaned five of my beaded flower rings to Heather Brownlee to display at a jewelry party she was having. While none of them sold at the party Heather took the liberty to show them to a lady that owns a boutique in Pleasant Grove. The lady( I don't know her name) liked them so much she is insisting that I sell them there. She has given them a place next to the register and believes that they will sell quickly. She isn't going to take a cut for a while and when she does it's only going to be @ 5%. How cool is that!!!! I found this out about five minutes ago and I have to tell someone( Andy isn't picking up his phone)! I really hope they do as well as this lady thinks. She said they were the perfect style for her clientele so hopefully I can earn some money for Christmas! I'm soooooo excited! I worked really hard to figure out those rings and get them to look and feel right, and now they are in a shop! It's not the mall or anything but its a good place to start.

There was a lot of tears, even more smiles, and everything went pretty well. Avah wouldn't be a flower girl, Lily(Avah's cousin) did a great job. Seth is a ring bearing pro(he was the ring bearer at my wedding too!). All in all the ceremony went well and the reception did just as good! I hope that they will be very happy together.

Yes it is a girl. No I do not have the pictures to put up yet. Still working on it. It was shocking how many people's first response was " Poor Shaun!". Yes "Poor Shaun" is still the only boy but, just think of how comfortable around girls he will be. It will do him good in high school. Anyway, when we found out that she was Sarah and not Edward I thought I would be disappointed, but I'm really excited for Avah to have a little sister. Plus it saves us a lot of money! So far everything is going well. My chances of getting what I had last time are slim. Unless a blood test they took, to see if I have antibodies that will attack the placenta, comes back positive. Then I am in trouble. If it is positive I will have a 68% chance of it happening again, I think. I like the doctor I had though. He made it very clear that the first sign of something going wrong will immediately lead to bed rest, which will suck. But, he is retired now and the doctor that took over is acting the same about it but I don't know if I like him as much. I've only seen him once though so I'll give him more of a chance before I start rudely asking for someone else. I think that that is all of the highlights. I should know for sure about the blood test by Sunday at the very latest. When I know you'll know, as the saying goes.

P.S. I will be finding out what I'm having on the seventeenth of this month! I have to go to Utah Valley to get it done, and I think they will be running some other tests because of last time. The appointment is at eleven, so don't expect phone calls until at least noon or noon thirty.

Halloween Costumes!!!

I'm HUGE!!!!!!!!!

So I wake up the other morning and I swear Mount Everest was blocking my view of my feet! I'm only 18 weeks but I look like I could pop at any moment. I swear it happened over night too. I've gained quite a bit of weight too which is sad. I was hoping to gain very little. Now don't worry it's nothing compared to what I was with Avah but, its still more than I was hoping for. As long as the baby is healthy and I lose the weight afterward that's what really counts right?

Last night Andy was up until two in the morning sawing apart old rollerblades to make gauntlets for his batman costume. Two in the morning! Did I mention that he was doing this in the family room that is right next to the bedroom. I not only am pregnant but am not feeling well. his noise woke me up at one-thirty and I didn't get back to sleep until about seven. Avah woke up at eight-thirty and I was already up again. I'm trying to get by on about four and a half hours of sleep. Needless to say Andy is taking Avah tonight and I am staying home and having a night to myself. I'm hoping an early night will help me feel better. I'll try to get pictures of Andy and Avah in costume and my big belly up when I have them.

Catch up!

Okay, so not a lot has been going on. Not really. I've been shopping with my mother-in-law to help her get ready for her wedding. And that is as far as my over exciting life goes, so far. However on the 30th of this month is when it starts and doesn't stop! The 30th is Jane's Bridal shower, the 31st is her birthday and Halloween(huge Holiday in Andy's family), I have a doctors appointment on the 3rd, two weeks later I go back in to find out what the baby is! Jane's wedding on the 15th. Mark and Alicia, and Mary Alice's birthdays on the 20th, 21st and 25th. Not in that order and if I got the dates wrong I'm sorry. Then there is Thanksgiving, Which shouldn't be as crazy as last year since Jane will be in Idaho this year. Hopefully we can just go to Mom and Dads and eat only one meal this year, fingers crossed. December is going to be even more crazy. My family does one birthday cake/party a month. Andy's family does one birthday cake/party a person, at least. They have three birthdays in December. I'm praying that they will combine the birthday parties together instead of having three. I have such a bad memory especially lately that I'm surprised I remembered what I did. So if I forget to get you a card, or if I never got you a card, please don't take it personally. I'm just crazy and being pregnant just brings it out more.

I just reread what I wrote and I sound like a _______(input your favorite word I wont be offended). I'm sorry if I offended anyone I'm just mean a lot lately. I don't try to be it just comes out that way.

No more work!

Its a good thing right? I should be home taking care of the little angel that is currently driving me nuts, right? I'm glad I'm done. I don't want to take the same risks with this baby that I did with Avah. Especially now that I know I was taking risks(stupid doctor!). But, at the same time I had fun at work, alot of the time, and it was my only escape from Avah and the house work. Sad to say but true. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get used to it. Eventually. A girl from work wants me to do jewlery selling parties with her, maybe I'll just see that as my new job. If anyone wants to have a jewlery party just let me know! Anyway yesterday was my last day, and because I was less than nice for a while I made a peace offering of chocolate chip cookies(don't want to burn bridges right?). I found the recipe on the back of a Ghirardelli chocolate chip bag. They were a huge hit. They'll miss me, even if its just for the cookies!

No clue what I'm doing!

OK, so this is my first blog ever and I am doing it blind! I'm extremely technology challenged so this will be very interesting. I don't even know what I should write about. But, I'm very good at rambling and horrible at spelling. I think I just found the spell check so hopefully that last part wont matter. Oh we must give credit to the one and only Ruth. Without her nagging(j/k, but not really!) this blog would not be here. So WAHOO for Ruth! I'm sure Andy will help me get some good pictures on here. I do take good pictures. Ahhh! I just looked out the window and its snowing! I miss warm weather. Does it matter that I'm not giving separate paragraphs to each new subject? Oh wow, the snow is really coming down. This isn't good, We're supposed to go to a Halloween party tonight. I guess we wont be going. I don't want Avah to get sick, again. I swear there isn't a baby that gets sick more than Avah. What am I doing wrong? Can I just blame it on her being a preemie? I told you, I'm really good at rambling. I'm sure my next blog will be better. Hopefully. Keep your fingers crossed.
